Hornosol is one of four solar projects developed in the province of Almería, specifically in the municipality of Lucainena de las Torres, together with Ventura Solar, Almahilla Solar and Terrera Solar. Together, these plants will add up to 182 MWp of installed capacity and are expected to begin operating by the end of 2025, collectively avoiding around 16,749 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
In addition to its positive environmental impact, Hornosol has contributed to job creation in the area and is integrated into the local economic fabric. It is part of the portfolio of renewable assets that we manage directly at BNZ as part of Nuveen Infrastructure, within a strategy aimed at consolidating our presence in Southern Europe.
