The inauguration of the first PV solar plant in Cádiz on media

BNZ inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Alcalá de los Gazules photovoltaic solar plant in March of this year, 2023, with a significant impact translated into extensive media coverage, especially at the regional level.

This inauguration celebrated the beginning of the construction of a photovoltaic solar energy plant in Alcalá de los Gazules, Cádiz, Spain, with a total capacity of 74 MW. Representatives from BNZ, Glennmont Partners from Nuveen, Grupotec, the Regional Government Delegation of Andalusia, and the local City Council were present at the ceremony. This plant is BNZ’s first in Spain, and the company plans to install 600 MWp of capacity by 2026. The overall goal is to implement more than 1.7 GW of photovoltaic solar energy in Southern Europe by the end of 2026.
