The Santa Catalina solar plant, located in Granada, has already started operating and contributes to the generation of clean energy, avoiding 10,860 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year — equivalent to 13,600 round-trip flights between Granada-Jaén and Berlin.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we have implemented various measures to protect local bird species from the risks associated with electrical installations and to offset any loss of nesting habitat. Natural biocorridors have also been created, and shelters for animals have been installed to help preserve local wildlife and promote biodiversity.

During its construction phase, Santa Catalina generated around 57 direct and indirect jobs and involved 82 companies, boosting the local economy and reinforcing our commitment to sustainable development in the region.
