Located in the Lazio region, this solar plant is currently under development and will make a significant contribution to clean energy production in the country. Once operational, it will generate enough electricity to meet the annual needs of around 16,000 people.
The energy produced will also prevent the emission of around 23,000 tonnes of CO2 per year – the equivalent of 40,000 return flights between London and New York.
At the Camposcala plant, the company plans to integrate agri-voltaic projects, including olive cultivation and the installation of beehives, to further promote sustainability and biodiversity.
BNZ estimates that the construction of this facility will create around 300 direct and indirect jobs by 2024, bringing significant economic benefits to the local community.
