Powering Europe to a greener future
ESG
ESG is key to BNZ’s ambitions
BNZ aims to become a leader in energy transition and environmental and social evolution by collaborating closely with our local suppliers in the areas where we making agricultural projects compatible with the installation of our clean energy plants.
Over the lifecycle of the plants that we both develop and manage, we approach ESG from multiple perspectives, often through partnerships with local stakeholders and plant contractors.
Support communities
We emphasise relationships with local communities. Our track record also helps us to develop our projects more efficiently.
BNZ carefully selects plant sites to respect the local historical heritage, environmental regulation, and legislation. In addition to creating employment opportunities, our plants also host public education visits and, where appropriate, contribute to local initiatives through community funding.
Respect and support local ecosystems
During development, we take local natural resources and animal habitats into consideration. We strive to protect local biodiversity.
Minimise energy and resource usage
BNZ carefully monitors the water and electricity consumption. Waste production is monitored to encourage the reuse and the recycling where possible.
