A Espanya, les dades indiquen que l&#8217;any passat va ser el sis\u00e8 m\u00e9s sec de la seva hist\u00f2ria i el m\u00e9s c\u00e0lid des de 1961, quan van comen\u00e7ar els registres. A m\u00e9s, les precipitacions van ser un 16% inferiors a la mitjana i la temperatura mitjana di\u00e0ria va superar els 15 \u00b0C per primera vegada.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta escassetat de pluges tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;ha donat a It\u00e0lia: la pitjor sequera en set d\u00e8cades va assotar a l&#8217;estiu de 2022, quan el Po, el major riu itali\u00e0 que rega aproximadament un ter\u00e7 de la producci\u00f3 agr\u00edcola italiana, va registrar un grav\u00edssim d\u00e8ficit h\u00eddric. Portugal tamb\u00e9 ha estat un dels pa\u00efsos afectats. El mes de maig passat, el seu Govern va declarar sequera severa i extrema en prop del 40% del territori nacional, en la meitat sud del pa\u00eds, a causa de les altes temperatures i a les baixes precipitacions al mar\u00e7 i abril.<\/p>\n<p>Aquests esdeveniments clim\u00e0tics extrems ressalten la necessitat d&#8217;abordar aquest problema i prendre mesures per a mitigar els seus efectes en l&#8217;agricultura, el subministrament d&#8217;aigua i el medi ambient en general. En aquest sentit, les plantes d&#8217;energia solar fotovoltaica poden ser de gran ajuda. I \u00e9s que els panells solars es presenten com una alternativa, no sols per a frenar el canvi clim\u00e0tic i evitar aquests esdeveniments, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 per a millorar la gesti\u00f3 de les aig\u00fces subterr\u00e0nies i ajudar a gestionar la sequera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Conservaci\u00f3 de recursos h\u00eddrics i reducci\u00f3 d&#8217;evaporaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La conservaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aigua \u00e9s un tema crucial en l&#8217;actualitat, especialment a causa de la creixent demanda i escassetat d&#8217;aquest recurs vital. En aquest sentit, les plantes solars es presenten com una soluci\u00f3 prometedora, ja que aprofiten l&#8217;energia del sol i no requereixen aigua per al seu funcionament, a difer\u00e8ncia de les fonts el\u00e8ctriques convencionals, com les t\u00e8rmiques o les hidroel\u00e8ctriques, que necessiten grans volums d&#8217;aigua per a generar electricitat.<\/p>\n<p>La instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 de panells solars no sols t\u00e9 beneficis en termes de generaci\u00f3 d&#8217;energia neta, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 pot contribuir a la reducci\u00f3 de l&#8217;evaporaci\u00f3 del s\u00f2l. Quan s&#8217;instal\u00b7len panells solars en una determinada \u00e0rea, aquests cobreixen part del s\u00f2l i proporcionen ombra, la qual cosa ajuda a disminuir l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 directa del s\u00f2l a la radiaci\u00f3 solar i al vent. Gesti\u00f3 de terres i \u00fas dual<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La coexist\u00e8ncia d&#8217;energia solar i agricultura, la agrivoltaica, tamb\u00e9 pot proporcionar uns certs beneficis que ajuden a mitigar els efectes de la sequera. A trav\u00e9s de la col\u00b7locaci\u00f3 de panells solars sobre els cultius, l&#8217;energia fotovoltaica pot proporcionar ombra, reduir l&#8217;evaporaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aigua del s\u00f2l o protegir els cultius contra condicions clim\u00e0tiques adverses. En aquest sentit, la reducci\u00f3 de l&#8217;evaporaci\u00f3 i la moderaci\u00f3 de la temperatura sota l&#8217;ombra poden crear un microclima m\u00e9s favorable per als cultius, amb la conseg\u00fcent millora de l&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia en l&#8217;\u00fas de l&#8217;aigua i la reducci\u00f3 de les necessitats de reg.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, les plantes solars agrivoltaicas poden dissenyar-se per a incorporar pr\u00e0ctiques de gesti\u00f3 de la vegetaci\u00f3 que afavoreixin la salut del s\u00f2l i la retenci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aigua. Plantar herbes aut\u00f2ctones o un altre tipus de vegetaci\u00f3 sota o al voltant dels panells solars pot ajudar a millorar la humitat del s\u00f2l, augmentar el contingut de mat\u00e8ria org\u00e0nica i millorar les taxes d&#8217;infiltraci\u00f3, beneficiant indirectament la rec\u00e0rrega dels aq\u00fc\u00edfers.<\/p>\n<p>Una altra de les estrat\u00e8gies que es poden adoptar \u00e9s la utilitzaci\u00f3 de sistemes de reg eficients i tecnologies de control d&#8217;aigua. Mitigaci\u00f3 dels efectes de la sequera i la resili\u00e8ncia clim\u00e0tica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abordar el canvi clim\u00e0tic \u00e9s clau per a la gesti\u00f3 sostenible de l&#8217;aigua. Les plantes solars produeixen energia renovable i mitiguen el canvi clim\u00e0tic, els efectes del qual poden derivar en la sequera. A m\u00e9s, tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n compatibles amb aig\u00fces pluvials, perqu\u00e8 poden optimitzar l&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica de les plantes solars, ja que la pluja refreda i neta els panells. D&#8217;aquesta manera, es pot evitar la reducci\u00f3 de fins a un 12% de generaci\u00f3 d&#8217;energia amb l&#8217;eliminaci\u00f3 de part\u00edcules suspeses en l&#8217;aire i brut\u00edcia.<\/p>\n<p>Finalment, l&#8217;energia solar tamb\u00e9 pot reduir la depend\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;aigua per al manteniment, perqu\u00e8 permet adoptar m\u00e8todes de neteja alternatius en relaci\u00f3 amb altres m\u00e8todes de producci\u00f3 d&#8217;energia convencionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&#8217;energia fotovoltaica, un actiu a llarg termini per a donar resposta a la crisi h\u00eddrica de manera sostenible<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amb tot, la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 de panells solars demostra ser una alternativa per a enfrontar la situaci\u00f3 actual de la sequera al Sud d&#8217;Europa. Els embassaments peninsulars han experimentat una lleugera disminuci\u00f3 en el seu volum d&#8217;aigua emmagatzemada i actualment es troben al 47,4% de la seva capacitat. Aquestes dades s\u00f3n inferiors als registrats en les mateixes dates de l&#8217;any 2022 i estan 19 punts per sota de la mitjana de l&#8217;\u00faltima d\u00e8cada, que \u00e9s del 66,7%.<\/p>\n<p>En aquest sentit, les preses destinades a la producci\u00f3 d&#8217;energia el\u00e8ctrica es troben al 64,3% de la seva capacitat, tamb\u00e9 per sota dels valors mitjans de l&#8217;\u00faltima d\u00e8cada (77%).
